Learning City Education Program. New Partnerships for Student Achievement - Education Programs Keyed to the Challenges of the 21st Century.

As a member of the National Assessment Governing Board established by Congress she has helped to set goals for our nation's education agenda. Currently, she is advising policymakers and community projects in 34 states as well as in Singapore, Thailand and China.

She has devoted 40 years to developing home and community training programs to help all youngsters succeed. These programs teach "MegaSkills," the inner engines of learning, confidence, motivation, effort, responsibility, initiative, perseverance, teamwork, caring, problem solving, common sense and focus.

Her work has been highlighted in the Congressional Record, and subject of articles in newspapers and magazines including The Washington Post, US News and World Report, Reader's Digest, Boston Globe, New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Denver Post, Los Angeles Times, Christian Science Monitor, and USA Today. Her books are praised by Barbara Bush and she has been featured on radio and TV programs including MacNeil/Lehrer News Hour.
